Analysis of economic security risks for women
We present to your attention the report of the study "Analysis of economic security risks for women", which was conducted by an expert group of the WICC in 14 regions of Ukraine.
The analysis shows what external and internal barriers women face in the economic sphere, and also describes the factors that contribute to women's economic security. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations were developed for the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, public authorities, public and international organizations regarding:
- increasing the economic stability of women dependent on other persons;
- women who have the status of IDPs;
- local residents of communities that suffered from armed Russian aggression;
- female veterans;
- female volunteers
And this is not an exhaustive list.
The research was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Government of Great Britain within the framework of the project "Women. Peace. Security: a response to the challenges of war", which is carried out by the Ukrainian Women's Fund in partnership with the NGO "La Strada - Ukraine", the Association of Women Lawyers of Ukraine "Yurfem", the Women's Information Consultative Center, the Ukrainian Public Health Foundation and the Center "Women's perspectives" with the assistance of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy.
