A grant to support local initiatives has been announced
Competition in support of local initiatives of public organizations related to advocacy and lobbying for the inclusion of anti-discrimination approach and the principle of gender equality in the reform of the security and defense sector.
The Women's Information and Counseling Center, within the project "Strengthening the Capacity of NGOs to Advocate and Lobby for the Inclusion of Anti-Discrimination and Gender Equality in Security Sector Reform", is supported by including in cooperation with security and defense sector institutions related to advocacy and lobbying for the inclusion of an anti-discrimination approach and the principle of gender equality in security sector reform.
Support will be given to initiatives aimed at preventing and transforming conflicts peacefully, developing and strengthening women as active participants in peacekeeping processes, building a culture of peace, participating in decision-making, implementing educational programs and activities, cooperating with security and defense sectors.
To receive financial assistance, you must submit an Application and Plan for the use of assistance.
The maximum amount of expected support is UAH 10,000.
The term of implementation of the submitted initiatives is up to 6 months.
The deadline for submitting initiatives to the competition is May 5, 2018
Announcement of the results of the competition - May 10, 2018
Completion of the project - by December 30, 2018
The results of the implementation will be demonstrated at the final event of the project in January 2019.
