Advanced Invasion Readiness Checklist

16.02.2025

In 2022, the WICC conducted a survey of communities regarding their readiness for invasion. At that time, only 7 key questions were in focus. However, modern threats are forcing communities of other countries to review their own approaches to security and seek expertise.

In response to these requests, we have prepared an expanded checklist that covers a wider range of risks and response measures.

What does the updated list include?

  • Effectiveness of communication and availability of emergency alerts for all population groups.
  • Action algorithms in case of threats from drones, ballistic missiles, IEDs, chemical, biological, and nuclear hazards.
  • Readiness of shelters and resilience points.
  • Organization of medical support and supply of medications for individuals with chronic illnesses.
  • Interaction of local self-government, public organizations, and volunteers in crisis conditions.
  • Urgent evacuation planning, including the needs of vulnerable population groups.
  • Preparation of receiving communities for an influx of displaced persons.
  • Training on mine safety and tactical medicine.

This expanded checklist is a tool for assessing the readiness level of communities and can be used as a basis for enhancing security and effective response to threats.

Check out the list and make sure your community is prepared for potential challenges!
